We are passionate about creating new memories, and motorcycling is our choice for making these memories, and building these bonds of friendship.

Mark channelling his inner philosopher...

Durango, Colorado

In 2017 Mark joined our band of motorcycle philosophers, and we have never been the same!  He brings a zest for life, and an uninhibited sense of adventure.  We road through eastern Arizona in the morning, and then headed to Farmington, NM late at night.  We used Farmington as our base of operations for a few days as we ventured to Durango and other parts of Colorado.  On our way home we went through Northern Arizona, and eventually stopped at Four Corners.  We stayed the last night in Williams, AZ, and then started off early the next morning through Sedona, and back to Scottsdale/Phoenix...home.

One moto show 2018

Karin wanted to visit the Custom Motorcycle Show in Portland, so off we went.  Beautiful bikes, great food, and good times...

COTA 2018

Yes, we rode from Phoenix to Austin with Karin pulling the toy-hauler.  We rode through a thunderstorm east of El Paso in the middle of the night.  What a great adventure with over 2300 miles of twists and grins!

Laguna Seca 2018

We drove to Laguna Seca, and spent two full days in the sun enjoying WSBK and MotoAmerica racing.  The girls got to get up close with many of the riders, and we got to shake hands with Keith Code and Eddie Lawson.  We found the tribute brick to our family friend, Tony Polidoro.  The girls got to get pics with Alex Dumas, Baz, and Laverty.

2019 MotoGP-Catalunya

We did it! Mark and Katie drove the VW from London to Barcelona while the girls and I flew there from good old Arizona. See our NEWS page for more info and photos, but what a trip. We had great bonding time, and we really did get to enjoy motorcycling from GP racing to riding around the countryside. It was a fantastic trip with great friends and family. If you ever get the chance to go, look up Retro Rides. Philip, the owner, is a great guy, and he will make sure that you have the best experience possible.

Track Days (November 2021)

We do enjoy our track days. Mark flew out from the UK to just ride with us! Steve borrowed Karissa’s track bike for his first track day.

2022 Texas (written by Frank)

Karin and I rode through Texas for 2 weeks, which equated to 4,600 miles. We met Mark for the second week when he flew in to Dallas and rented a Harley Pan America. We fell in love with Texas and the people. Karin and I both ran through a set of tires, and had to pick up on pair of Anakee Adventure tires in Katy for Karin, and mine in Fort Worth. The dealers were very helpful, and took care of us well as we were from out of state.

We went to two motorcycle museums in Hill Country. A special shout-out to Pat and Janell Hanlon, the Owners of Hill Country Motorheads Motorcycle Museum. They took time to chat with us, show us around, and just share in the passion of motorcycling that we all share.

We ate good food, rode to Shreveport for some Cajun Food, and just enjoyed our time together. Mark flew out from Dallas, and Karin and I took the southern route home over Saturday and Sunday.

What a great ride!
